In order to use certain secure services on Vex.Net (such as webmail) you need to install Vex.Net's root security certificate into your browser.

Simply read the easy instructions below for your browser (or the nearest equivalent), and then use the link at the bottom of this page to install the certificate.

If you choose not to install the certificate you will be able to use the "secure" Vex.Net services, however your browser will pop up a warning message every time you do.

Browser Instructions
Mozilla / Netscape 6+
  1. After activating the "install" link below, a window should open asking you to verify the certificate.
  2. Check at least the box which says "Trust this CA to identify web sites".
  3. Press the OK button.
Opera 6
  1. After activating the "install" link below, a window will open asking you to verify the certificate.
  2. Ensure that "Allow connections to sites certified by this authority" is checked.
  3. Press the OK button.
Internet Explorer 6
  1. After activating the "install" link below, the "file download" prompt will open.
  2. Press the "Open" button. A "Certificate" window will open.
  3. Press the "Install" button. The "Certificate Import Wizard" will appear.
  4. Press "Next". Ensure the "Automatic" option is selected, and press "Next" again.
  5. Press the "Finish" button. A "Root Certificate Store" prompt will appear.
  6. Press the "Yes" button.
Konqueror 3
  1. After activating the "install" link below, a "Secure Certificate Import" window will open.
  2. Press the "Import All" button.

Install the Vex.Net root certificate now!
